Position Overview: Based in Carletonville. I have been promoted 2 time working for them for 9 years. We did crushing and screening, ready mix cement for various construction projects and roadworks across South Africa.
Summary of Duties:
- Supervise and control 26 workers and ensure all legal duties as per 2.9.2 appointment of MHSA are carried out
- Oversee that loading area are safe and level to access safely and that all floor levels are maintained
- Inspect and ensure all Earthmoving and mobile machinery are up to standard and reporting all issues
- Inspect and maintain all rolling wheels on trucks and earthmoving equipment reporting and testing tires to insure maximum cost per kilometer are reached
- Invoicing
- Daily, weekly and monthly Reporting to management
- Provide effective solutions to issues that may arise
- Ensuring Plant are producing to maximum potential and are fully utilized
- Attending to minor breakdowns and fitting of wear parts as screendecks, bearings, conveyors and rollers
- Reporting all major breakdowns and services
- Servicing customer and build a trustworthy relationship
- All Logistics and transport issues, route planning and monitoring of deliveries to customers
- Solving queries and day to day issues that may occur
